Discrete Integrable Systems

Frobenius modules encode many of the typical phenomena in positive characteristic. They enjoy a difference Galois theory with linear algebraic group schemes as partners similar to differential modules. Here we construct very general Frobenius modules with groups of Lie type as Galois groups. This applies among others to ordinary Galois extensions, p-adic differential equations and t-motives.
