KAH2 - K-theory, algebraic cycles and motivic homotopy theory Calabi-Yau manifolds of a given dimension are connected by an intricate web of birational maps, which can be studied from the viewpoint of mirror symmetry. I will focus on a sequence of singularities in dimension 4 and above, each given by a cone of rank 1 tensors of a certain signature, to illustrate structures that arise for 4-folds and beyond.
