KAH2 - K-theory, algebraic cycles and motivic homotopy theory In his famous 1970 paper on the Picard functor, Raynaud described the relationship between the Néron model of the Jacobian of a curve over a discrete valuation ring, and the regular model of the curve. We give an extension of these results to generalized Jacobians, with applications to modular curves. This is joint work with Bruce Jordan and Ken Ribet.
