If you have a question about this talk, please contact nobody. HY2W01 - Modulation theory and dispersive shock waves We present a numerical study of the appearence of DSWs in the family of Korteweg-de Vries (KdV) and nonlinear Schrödinger equations. Concretely we will look at generalised and fractional KdV equations in 1d and the Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation, as well as at fractional NLS equations in 1d and Davey-Stewartson equations.
