If you have a question about this talk, please contact Thiago Burghi. This talk will present controllers with delay independent stability for the secondary frequency regulation of power systems. We show that the present primal-dual control algorithms are incapable of dealing with unknown and heterogeneous delays in practice. To deal with this challenge, an equivalent passive reformulation is derived, which eliminates the virtual edge dynamics from the original primal-dual controller. The reformulated one is then incorporated with a novel form of scattering transformation to robustify communication channels against arbitrary and bounded delays.
