GCSW02 - Structure preservation and general relativity I will present some new finite element spaces for metrics with integrable curvature. These were obtained in the framework of finite element systems, developed for constructing differential complexes with adequate gluing conditions between the cells of a mesh. The new spaces have a higher regularity than those of Regge calculus, for which the scalar curvature contains measures supported on lower dimensional simplices (Dirac deltas).
