GCS - Geometry, compatibility and structure preservation in computational differential equations This talk will cover the basic properties of the equations of General Relativity, and issues involved in performing numerical simulations of those equations. Particular emphasis will be placed on three issues: (1) hyperbolicity of the equations. (2) preserving constraints. (3) dealing with black holes and spacetime singularities.
