GCSW01 - Tutorial workshop My three talks will be an exploration of geometric integration methods in the context of the numerical solution of PDEs. I will look both at discrete variational methods and their analysis using modified equations, and also of the role of adaptivity in studying and retaining qualitative features of PDEs.
