Intellectual Property (IP) takes many forms, and knowing how to use it is essential if you are considering collaboration with industrial partners, commercialising your research, starting your own business, or taking employment in industry. We will introduce different forms of IP and how they are used. Commercialisation through consultancy, IP licensing and spin-outs will be discussed, as well as the support activities offered by Cambridge Enterprise.

This talk is part of the Physics and Chemistry of Solids Group series.
