An Event for Families at the Sedgwick Museum

What happens behind the scenes at the Sedgwick Museum? Find out about some of the latest discoveries from the earth scientists who made them in a series of three short talks, including a chance for questions and discussion.

This years topics:

  • Climate change and ocean circulation – Dr Alex Piotrovski
  • Plesiosaurs – Hilary Ketchum
  • Ocean floor volcanoes – Dr John Hillier

These talks are intended for members of the public (ideally aged 8 and up). Places are limited so please ring 01223 333456 or email sedgwickmuseum@esc.cam.ac.uk to book your places.

This event is part of Fabulous Fossiliferous Family Fun Day which includes free, hands-on activities for all the family on Saturday 17th February from 10am until 4pm.
