How do start-ups or established companies make the move from desktop or small compute clusters to larger clusters to analyse their data and that of their customers? You have experience in your field, but might not have the depth of IT knowledge you want or the tools and equipment you need. This talk will show you how the Research Institutional Services of the University of Cambridge is helping companies today from Life Science, Oil & Gas to Manufacturers. From data security to designing components inside a larger compute and store cluster. Speaker Bio: Sean has spent the last 20 years working for two well-known vendors in the Super Computing space (Intel Corporation Director, HPC EMEA and Seagate Storage Systems, VP EMEA ).
