“Secondment” – launchpad for a research career or a sentence to obscurity? A route to better research collaboration or glorified baby-sitting? A week, a month or a year? Only for the seniors, or only for early stage researchers? A good way of plugging gaps between research grants? Charles Boulton will describe the results from a brief study into practices that work for collaborations with Cambridge. Come along also to hear about a new source of funding for secondment activity. And if you’re a secondee, here’s an opportunity to network with others like you to share experience and insights. 18th March, Hauser Forum, 12:00 to 14:00 Lunch will be available from 12:00 to 12:30, the seminar will run from 12:30 to 13:30 and then a Q&A session will run from 13:30.

This talk is part of the Collaboration Skills Initiative series.
