Just in time for the Christmas and New Year festivities, Alex Woolgar-Toms will describe the science behind the production and maturation processes involved in whisky production, and introduce some classic examples of single malt and blended whiskies.

It promises to be a fascinating evening.

Alex is an International Wine Challenge (IWC) judge and gave the inaugural Cambridge University Whisky Appreciation Society (CUWAS) tasting.
