I will review the current observational evidence for spinning dust emission with an emphasis on targeted measurements towards galactic objects. These data are often contradictory and a number of alternative physical processes must be dismissed before many detections in the literature can be verified as definitively arising from spinning dust. I will discuss the limitations of currently available datasets and the potential for future work on this subject.
