This talk will introduce the types of problems we tackle with cutting-edge machine-learning research at the Innovation Lab in Featurespace. We’ll discuss behavioural transaction embeddings and few-shot learning techniques, which could be used to detect fraud with minimal training data. The presentation will showcase successful projects from our past CDT students, highlighting work on embedding compression using Matryoshka Representation Learning, developing AI copilots for proprietary programming languages, and advanced methods for detecting machine-generated text.

This talk is part of the Data Intensive Science Seminar Series series.
