The Cambridge University Energy Network are delighted to have Dr. David Reiner of the Judge Business School to present the next in our seminar series.

Given claims by government and industry that carbon dioxide capture and storage (CCS) technologies can be a major low-carbon energy source and that public acceptance is critical, the minimal allocation of resources to communications and education is striking. Successful public communications on science and technology require deliberate design, time, resources, and imagination. We review existing efforts communications efforts on both climate science and CCS and explore the reasons for successes and failures.
