We will discuss how to perform precision calculations in the SMEFT framework, in order to parametrise small deviations from the SM predictions. This necessitates implementing the complex mass scheme in EFT calculations and computing beyond leading order. We will focus on numerical predictions for the Higgs to four lepton channel and its backgrounds, which are of upmost importance in New Physics searches at the LHC run-2.
