BioSoc’s first event of Lent Term!
Join us for an intriguing talk by Dr Melanie Stefan who looks at the novel approach of using computer models to study learning and memory interactions in the brain.
These pioneering models simulate the connections in the brain as well as giving a direct insight on the strengthening required for distinct memories to form. Dr Stefan will also present the challenges associated with “zooming out” when looking at the bigger system on the whole.
Free food and drink as always!
Free for BioSoc members, £3 for non-members
