In 2010, epigenetics was catapulted into public view appearing on the front cover of the Time magazine with the title “Why Your DNA Isn’t Your Destiny.” Since then vast research has been carried out in the ever expanding field and epigenetics is now known to have developmental consequences linking it to various conditions. In this fascinating talk, Dr Magdalena Koziol goes through novel epigenetic modifications which have been recently uncovered and so gives us a chance to explore the cutting edge aspect of this exciting field.
