The Yamabe problem seeks in a conformal class of Riemannian metrics a metric of constant scalar curvature. This has been solved positively through the work of Yamabe, Trudinger, Aubin and finally of Schoen in the 80’s. We will discuss related issues for a fully nonlinear version of this problem. Joint work with Yanyan Li.
