If you have a question about this talk, please contact Mateja Jamnik. I’ll be talking about how I came about to work at Google, and how to take advantage of opportunities that come your way. I’ll discuss a bit about what it is like to work in a large team on a project that impacts millions of users. I’ll also give a brief talk on how to write testable, easy to work with code using Google Guice for dependency injection. Bio: Alexandra is working as software engineer in the Google office in London, building the platform for Google Offers project. She started in her current role as a new graduate, after completing the MSc. in Advanced Computing degree from Imperial College London. Prior to that, she obtained a Computer Science Engineering degree from “Politehnica” University of Bucharest. This talk is part of the women@CL Speaker Lunch Series series.
