If you have a question about this talk, please contact Dr. Clarke Brunt.
The Society’s 92nd Conversazione, showcasing the environment and wildlife of
Cambridgeshire and further afield, will be held in the Elementary Laboratory in
Cambridge University’s Zoology Department. As there can be many competing
events on a weekend in June the Conversazione will not be open on the Sunday,
but we hope that being open on the Friday from 1.00 to 6.00 pm will enable people
who work in Cambridge to come along.
We invite all members to consider exhibiting. Exhibits might include specimens (living
or dead) – things people can handle always seem to be popular – or displays
about any aspect of local natural history. Or perhaps you are a member of a local
group which might like to have an exhibit about its activities? Past programmes,
available on our website, give an idea of the wide variety of exhibits, and there is
also a history of the Conversazione, written in 1989 for the 70th event. For
information or to book exhibition space please contact the Conversazione
organisers via http://www.cnhs.org.uk/.
