Our archaeal origins

In this talk we will explore one of the major transitions in the history of life on earth: the evolution of complex cells about 2 billions years ago. In thinking about how complex cells may have emerged, we will for clues in our own biology as well as in the still poorly understood cell biology of Archaea.
