Abstract: This talk is based on my submitted thesis about my previous work on optimising the Owl library and our future development plan.

Bio: I am a 5th year PhD student at the Computer Laboratory, supervised by Professor Jon Crowcroft. I have an interest in numerical computation and have been participating in the development of Owl, an OCaml-based scientific computing library.

This talk is part of the Computer Laboratory Systems Research Group Seminar series.
