I will give an overview of my 6 months at Spherical Defense, in particular explaining my part in bringing the product from a prototype to a production ready system. Spherical Defense is an API security solution that uses deep unsupervised learning for anomaly detection on inbound API traffic. Representation learning is at the heart of Spherical’s product, learning meaningful representations for tree-structured data in order to classify API requests. The company was founded in 2017, and was quickly selected by GCHQ to join its prestigious Accelerator Programme. The company is now entering into its growth stage with its user base expanding rapidly. This talk is part of the Data Intensive Science Seminar Series series. This talk is included in these lists:
