The Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (Nuclear AMRC ) namrc.co.uk based at the University of Sheffield, is part of the UK’s High Value Manufacturing Catapult. Steve Lawler from the AMRC team will give a presentation on Modular Reactors which could provide power for the UK as an alternative to large reactors such as Hinckley Point. Steve Lawler joined the Nuclear AMRC as Operations Director in August 2016 from Rolls-Royce, where he held management positions in manufacturing R&D and in-service reactor fleet support. He is responsible for managing the safe delivery of programmes across the Nuclear AMRC ’s research factory.
