Inspired by Charles Babbage’s legacy, the Babbage Seminar Series gathers leading figures as well as young researchers from economics, engineering and operation management with an interest in manufacturing and industrial policy. In this Babbage Seminar, we are pleased to welcome Ken Warwick, an independent economics consultant and former Director of Economics in the UK Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, who will discuss his paper Beyond Industrial Policy – Emerging Issues and New Trends.
