The rise of design thinking marked a high water mark and the range of design problems being addressed has ballooned from product and experience, to services and social change. However, the recession has now sharpened the questions being asked of design managers about exactly what design can and can’t deliver. About the Speaker: Kevin is founder and director of Plan, a product strategy consultancy based in London. He has helped the following brands work out what to do next: Ford, HP, Mars, Lenovo, Nokia, Orange, O2, Psion, Samsung, Shell, Unilever and Yamaha. He is a columnist for core77; teaches at CASS business school, London, and is a visiting fellow at his old design faculty at Northumbria University.
