Professor Nathan Aviezer will discuss the relationship between the Genesis account (creation) and the scientific account (evolution) of the formation of the animal kingdom, from the perspective of a religious Jew. He will also present some recent scientific findings relating to the fossil record, and show how these findings impinge on Darwin’s theory of evolution. Nathan Aviezer is Professor of Physics and former Chairman of the Physics Department of Bar-Ilan University. Aviezer is the author of more than 100 scientific articles on solid state physics.
