Session 1, Cambridge Networks and Communication Meeting The International Technical Alliance (ITA) in Networks and Information Science is an initiative sponsored by the UK Ministry of Defense (MoD) and US Army Research Laboratory (ARL). They have formed an alliance to perform research in network centric systems. The alliance currently has 27 partners including universities, industry, and government agencies in both the UK and the USA . The Computer Laboratory at the University of Cambridge is a member and has an active network research program involved in ITA objectives. This presentation provides a short overview of the ITA and the network research projects for the ITA during the past year.
