Dr Jonathan Wood, 2006 Famelab winner, explores the engineering lessons that we can learn from biology. Making use of demos (including spilling red wine, blow-up sharks and metal wires with long memories) and really bad puns. Jonathan will tell us how we can copy nature to come up with new materials and technologies for our own use.
