The increasing scale and complexity of the modern locomotive systems pose challenges in finding the causal faults of functional disturbances. Hence, maintaining such systems becomes increasingly expensive and time consuming.
In this seminar, I present the implementation process of a fault diagnosis technique that can tackle those challenges and facilitate effective and cost-effective maintenance process. The technique is implemented in two constituents: a failure knowledge base and a diagnosis algorithm.
