If you have a question about this talk, please contact Jack Atkinson. The R programming language is widely used, particularly by those performing statistical analyses. The R community is a key component of R, and part of this are the local “chapters” across various universities and cities. Cambridge, however, has no local community at the moment. This RSE ‘seminar’ is an opportunity for R users from across Cambridge to come together and discuss whether we would like to establish a group, and plan the next steps. We would also appreciate input from non-R users from the wider RSE community to help us form contacts and provide guidance on community building.
