If you have a question about this talk, please contact Benjamin Shi. In the pursuit of the Net-Zero Target to combat climate change, reliable carbon data is essential for informed decision-making. However, current data, often based on estimates and averages, lacks trustworthiness. To address this issue, my research focuses on developing the data ontology for dependable carbon reporting in the lifecycle of transportation infrastructure. It lays the data foundation to automate data collection, sharing, and integration, ensuring uniformity and trustworthiness, ultimately supporting effective data-driven decisions for emission reduction.
