Do wild birds navigate using their ‘gut-feeling’? What can wild animals’ poo tell us about evolution? and how is our new understanding of microbial communities changing the ways we can conserve wildlife species? All of these and further insights will be shared in this summary of a 4-years journey around the world – on a quest to map and unravel the secrets of wild animals’ microbiomes.
