Cambridge Post-Conflict and Post-Crisis Group Research Colloquium

Presenter: Ian Ralby (Gates Scholar and MPhil student, Centre for International Studies)

Discussant: Dr. Roger O’Keefe (Lecturer, Faculty of Law and Deputy Director, Lauterpacht Centre for International Law)

This seminar will explore issues relating to the protection of cultural heritage in times of war and in its aftermath. Ian Ralby will present the case of Iraq and the challenges of prosecuting cultural property crimes. Dr. O’Keefe will act as discussant bringing in his considerable experience of working on the protection of cultural property in armed conflict.
