This meeting will provide a forum for those doing, thinking about or having done some form of ‘diagrammatic intervention with participants’ (for want of a better general term). By this we mean work that involves showing diagrams to research subjects, asking subjects to draw diagrams, collecting diagrams from the subjects’ environments, some combination of these approaches or something else altogether. The purpose is to share relevant experiences, theoretical perspectives and literature. Participants will include those from the Engineering Design Centre, the Computer Laboratory and the Institute for Manufacturing, but all other participants are welcome.

This talk is part of the Methodology in design research series.
