The use of Thin Film Bulk Acoustic Wave Resonators (FBARs) as sensors has shown very interesting results in the past few years, owing to their high sensitivity, robustness, low power consumption, versatility and capacity to multiplex. In this talk, the work of the Electronics Devices and Materials group (EDM), in the Department of Engineering, on FBA Rs for biosensing applications will be presented. The speakers will focus on the latest results of one of our projects focused on Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) detection using FBA Rs.

This talk is part of the "Life Sciences Masterclass" series.
