Lateral septal interneurons broadcast hippocampal signals to calibrate fear responses

Dr. Antoine Besnard will discuss his findings on the role of a non-canonical hippocampo-septal path that controls fear responses. This route originates in area CA3 /CA2 and targets distinct classes of interneurons in the dorsolateral septum, which in turn control hypothalamic nuclei.
