If you have a question about this talk, please contact Jason Kwong. Observations suggest the Universe had undergone periods of accelerated expansion during the course of its evolution. I will discuss modern ideas about the evolution of the early Universe from the big bang to the present time and consider a model of the late Universe which goes beyond the usual theories of gravity. Ways of testing this will be discussed. I will not assume knowledge of cosmology or general relativity, but the talk will contain some simple differential equations. This talk is part of the Trinity Mathematical Society series. This talk is included in these lists:Note that ex-directory lists are not shown. |
