If you have a question about this talk, please contact Dr Antonio M. M. Rodrigues. Tiffany leads a double life. During the day she uses experimental evolution to investigate genome evolution, bacterial motility and cancer metastasis. But by night, she writes science stories for children. Tiffany will talk about her experiences of taking the leap into outreach, whilst still busy in the lab, and describe the lessons learnt along the way from her first small, self-published book “Little Changes”, to her larger, collaborative, Kickstarter funded project “Great Adaptations”. She will reveal how it has benefitted her as a researcher and opened new doors – and hopefully encourage you all to write the book in you. “Little Changes” can be viewed here, www.rinkidinks.co.uk, and the story behind “Great Adaptations” can be seen here,https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/breadpiginc/great-adaptations-a-childrens-book-about-evolution. !! BOOK SIGNING SESSION at the end !! This talk is part of the Wolfson College Science Society series. This talk is included in these lists:
