If you have a question about this talk, please contact Lorisa Dubuc.

My talk will be an overview over my research interests and the work I have conducted since I started last October. My main research topic is the inference of affective states from body motion. After introducing the process of motion capture I will present ways to process the data which make it more viable for pattern recognition techniques. I will then discuss different approaches to complex action recognition from motion capture data, giving results from my experiments with multivariate HMMs.

This talk is part of the Rainbow Interaction Seminars series.
