From basic physics to news.bbc.co.uk – join us on a brief tour of some of the larger monuments of the Internet. We’ll cover how digital information can be carried on analog channels, describe Ethernet, packets, and how switches form networks. We’ll see how separate networks can be interconnected to create one, global, Internet.
