Conference web page: https://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/events/owcsc2014/ We are delighted to announce the 1st Oxbridge Women in Computer Science Conference, which will be held on 27 February 2014, in Cambridge, UK. This conference, organised by women@CL Cambridge and OxWoCS Oxford, and sponsored by Google, aims to bring together junior and senior female researchers in Computer Science and to encourage collaboration through formal and informal discussion. We have key speakers from industry and academia sharing their experience with the participants. Students will get the opportunity to present their work (talk or poster) and receive friendly and productive feedback from a panel of senior academics and technologists. This will also be a chance for social mingling, networking and forming new contacts. All female students, faculty and staff members of the department are welcome to attend the conference. There is no registration fee for the conference; and snacks, lunch and a conference dinner will be provided free of charge. Coach transportation will be provided free of charge for all participants travelling from Oxford.
