Discussing Chapter 2 (Wooldridge, Introductory Econometrics, ed. 2)
The Basic Statistics Reading Group seeks to be a forum for grad and undergrad students at Cambridge who are new to statistics. The aim is to:
- weekly meet and discuss chapters of Wooldridge: Introductory Econometrics (2nd ed.)
- invite lecturers for specific topics
- discuss each others quantitative research designs.
The group was founded by a PhD student at Politics. However, the approach is interdisciplinary and students from Economy, Sociology and Psychology, as well as Computer Science and Maths or other Departments and Institutes are welcome to join.
Please get in touch with Nicole (nj248) if you think of dropping in or if you have any questions.
We are meeting Tuesdays 5.30pm in the Graduate Cafe – Meeting Room.
This talk is part of the Basic Statistics Reading Group series.
