If you have a question about this talk, please contact Tim Wilkinson. This talk has been canceled/deleted This talk will highlight several Philips biosensing technologies which we envisage will move patient diagnosis from the hospital into the home and to the Point-of-Care (PoC). Earlier diagnosis will allow medical staff to respond quicker in emergencies, improve the medical outcomes and thereby reduce healthcare costs. Similarly important is the fact that patients will experience improved quality of life with fewer disturbances to their routine. Applications of the discussed technologies are not limited to the healthcare market but can also be found in the lifestyle area. This talk is part of the IET Cambridge Local Network series.
