The internet has simplified the logistics of delivering new products and services around the world and gives an advantage to those who can develop compelling user experiences. New mobile channels make content available where ever users are. The speakers from Jagex (Runescape), RedBee (BBC iPlayer) and Cisco will share their experiences of designing and delivering internet killer apps. Speakers are: Mark Faulkner, Head of Games Lab, Jagex (#1 Multiuser Online Game Runescape, recently put BounceDown onto the iPhone and had it as #1 download, part of the team that recently cancelled the release of MechScape to protect the brand) Clive Grinyer, Head of Customer Experience, Cisco (previously head of design for Orange, Samsung, Tag Heuer…) (pictured) Ben Schofield, Director Digital Media, RedBee (Video On Demand for the iPlayer and media metadata for Virgin, Microsoft etc) All staff and students of the University of Cambridge may attend free of charge, but we do like you to register.
