If you have a question about this talk, please contact wgr2. UAVs are used around the world to collect high resolution image data but in light of generally increasing regulations and power requirements it can be very difficult to use UAVs in the field. UAVs are also limited to imaging above the tree canopy making it difficult to fully record all of the environment. Pole photogrammetry presents an alternative which solves the issues highlighted above whilst being relatively lightweight and cost-effective to use.
