Target scattering properties with correlated disorder

We report a method to design 2D acoustic materials with prescribed scattering properties. We target information in reciprocal space to construct materials the structure factor of which matches the target scattering properties for a set of wavelengths. In this work the material is made of a distribution of rigid cylinders embedded in air.
