Leading polar marine biologist Professor Lloyd Peck works at the forefront of investigation into animal adaptations in extreme environments. His current interests are in how adaptation to specific environments affects animals’ abilities to respond to change, and how to get the best data to make these evaluations. Having conducted nearly 30 seasons of research in the Antarctic, his talk will offer fascinating insights into how species survive and thrive in the coldest, driest, windiest, most isolated place on earth.

This talk is part of the Wolfson College Science Society series.
